Replace Mailchimp with email you actually own.
Mailchimp's price climbs with your contact count, so the bill grows for broadcast sends you could own outright. On 13 April 2026 legacy plans took another hike (roughly 11-13%), and since 1 June 2025 automation is gone from the free plan - any flow now forces you onto paid Essentials or higher. You are renting access to your own list, on a meter that only ticks up.
Move broadcast sends onto a self-hosted Listmonk instance you own (single binary, your own SES/SMTP). The send is the easy part; deliverability warm-up + list migration is the scoped work, quoted in the call.
Not a mockup. Here it is running.
The same connector we build to replace Mailchimp, running its real transform over a seeded sample dataset. The same shape of build is what you are buying.
If you are on the free tier, or you lean on Mailchimp's visual automation builder, keep it - we will tell you so. We replace the expensive broadcast send and the loss of list ownership, not your whole marketing stack.
- Is self-hosted email actually deliverable?
- Yes, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up correctly and the sending domain warmed up gradually. That warm-up is real work, which is why we scope and quote it rather than promising a flat timeframe.
- What happens to my existing list?
- It is migrated with consent preserved. The connector only ever subscribes contacts who actually consented to marketing - you can watch it skip the rest in the live log on this page.
- Do I own it?
- Yes. Listmonk runs on your own infrastructure and the source lives in your repo, not ours. There is no per-contact rent.
- How does the cost compare to Mailchimp?
- The figure on the connector card is illustrative, anchored to Mailchimp's published Standard pricing. We quote the real number net of the build and hosting in your teardown - we do not publish an average savings claim.
- Mailchimp keeps changing the deal - the April 2026 hike, automation pulled from free. Does that stop?
- Not on their side. The 13 April 2026 legacy-plan increase (about 11-13%) and the 1 June 2025 removal of automation from the free tier are both decisions you had no say in. A Listmonk send you own has no per-contact meter and no vendor who can re-price or remove a feature you depend on. The cost is the infrastructure, which you control.
Send us your teardown. We will reply with a fixed fee.
No call. No discovery deck. We read your report, name the connector we would build first, and quote the dollar amount and the calendar weeks. You decide.
- ✓ Fixed fee. No retainer.
- ✓ Two to four weeks per connector.
- ✓ Source code lives in your repo, not ours.
- ✓ If we cannot beat the SaaS price net of payback, we say so.
